After we ran all of our workshops and programmes online for several months during the Covid 19 shut down, we finally could welcome a group of professionals back at the HPI Academy. It was an interesting endavaour especially for me, being so curious about behaviour changes in human beings. In order to be able to work together as a Design Thinking Team the participants had to quickly adapt to the physical-distance-Corona-rules while still integrating every team member. It took as half a day to get used to not standing close to each other in front of the whiteboard or clustering post-its together. User research and testing were organised via zoom calls. Besides we ran a series of warm-ups and team check-ins that were physical distance proof but still created emotional and cognitive proximity.  We are glad that our workshop rooms and campus spaces allow for flexibly adapting to the requirements of the teams. And it all worked-out.
