Individual resilience is a skillset. Resilience by design is what organizations need to survive. The question is not how much resilience you have but how to continuously build it.
Resilience is not a reaction to a crisis. It is a forward-looking management principle. One of my design principles for impactful learning experiences is combing different domains because the magic happens at the intersections.
In our format on creative resilience we learn from high reliable organizations, combine resilience with agility and creativity and bring in foresight methods to help our brains dealing with uncertainty.
Buckle up and up-skill your resilience.
We are living in times of discontinuity and exogenous shocks. No organization is immune to disruption. How do you keep organizations capable of action? How do you ingrain elements of learning, survival, and adaptability into the organizational design? When you combine creativity with resilience you enhance your capacity to stay optimistic, agile, and find creative solutions even in the face of adversity. Lothar Wieler, Esther-Maria Antao and I have designed a learning format for professionals that brings our experiences and perspectives together. In the short interview you can learn more about:
· What makes an organization resilient?
· How can organizations prepare for a crisis?
· How you can you make good decision with incomplete data?
