As a certified coder for the Facial Action Coding System (FACS) I was invited to Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (CCNi) the University of Glasgow. The researchers Philippe G. Schyns, Oliver G.B. Garrod, Rachel E. Jack are interested in the temporal dynamics of facial expressions. So my colleague Diana Mirza and I were supposed to either mimic a huge range of facial expressions in front of a 3D face scanner or to code video material they already had recorded. It was real fun.
