🤖 I was thrilled to kick off one of the most pressing and provocative conversations of our time: Human and AI – Partner or Puppet?
At the heart of the discussion at the Tech Leadership Conference at HPI lies a fundamental question:
Is AI here to empower human potential—or are we adapting ourselves to serve the logic of machines?
This panel brought together five sharp minds to explore the complex dance between humans and intelligent systems. We went beyond buzzwords to examine:
- Where AI truly augments human thinking,
- Where it risks narrowing our perspectives,
- And how it may be shifting agency away from human intention.
We looked deeper than the familiar “AI will change everything” narrative.
This was a conversation about agency, co-evolution, unintended consequences, and the ethics of design.
We questioned the dominant narratives around AI-human collaboration. As AI enters more domains of knowledge and creativity, how does it change the way we work, decide, and interact? Where is AI truly helping us, and where might it be narrowing our thinking or displacing agency? We explored what a “new synthesis” of human and machine could look like, and whether we’re designing it consciously or sleepwalking into it.
